In this story you can play with one of the two characters or we you can play with a friend either online or in the same room, you can play with E'lara a woman who is very good using the Bow, or you can choose Caddoc an awesome dude who is good at melee combat. You can master both new weapons and spells, you can also increase the powers of your partner from anywhere in the battlefields increasing either attacking or defending.
