Age of Empires Online release date announced!

The online game Age of Empires is getting a release date, the online game that in our crew opinion won't be that good, will be released on August 16 by Microsoft Games.
The game will be a free to play online game which you can jump into whenever you want, but if you "premium" content you will have to pay for it (as usual), you can also find a retailer edition that will include some bonuses making your Age of Empires even better and longer (we hope that), the gameplay time is estimated to be at least 40 hours with the free version, so if you want to extend the gameplay time you will have to pay more money for missions and more like Jagex games or some Facebook games.

Dead Island Cover released!

 The game that almost made us cry with an awesome and beatiful looking trailer, has revealed the cover for the game!, is bloody and kind of gory but is AWESOME!! They showed two covers the ESRB and the PEGI, we loved the PEGI one thanks to the dead person or zombie hanging dead in the tree while the ESRB is kind of boring thanks to the lack of a dead zombie or person hanging of a tree!!

Rift Collector's edition

Rift Collectors Edition is only for PC.
The Collector's Edition has the following:
A Turtle level 20 that you can ride
More space in the Inventory
A faithful pet, the Bogling wastrel.

GTA IV Google street view map? (FTW?!)

Yeah, it just took 80,000 pictures of really dedicated gamers to make this awesome map interactivew map, like the maps in Google Earth theres an option were the gamer can put Street View and see everything like Niko does. An interesting adition to the map is some hidden easter eggs for you to find in the ENORMOUS city so good luck with that!

New Consoles Coming to E3?

Since we first heard about the famous project cafe (WII 2?), we have heard about other consoles been develop by Microsoft and Sony, yeah thats right Sony is developing one, even if they said that the PS3 would last about 10 years in the market. Also we have also heard about a new xbox (720?) in development thanks to EA. So all of this makes us wonder if Sony and Microsoft revealed their consoles because of the project cafe or because of the upcoming E3.
One thing you will see in E3 will be the full reveal by Nintendo of their new console, and probably some teasers for the other 2 consoles.

We will keep you updated about Project Cafe and the other consoles in development.

Gears of War epic edition

Good news: epic edition announced for gears of war 3 is estimated that will be released for the September 20, 2011, the epic edition will be priced at 149.99 dollars.
The epic edition contains: A figure of Marcus, a book of art and design of 96 pages of photos, artwork, concepts and more, a service medal Octus a flag COG and of course the game .

Minecraft Diaries: The search of Coal

Hello and welcome to the minecraft adventures of ka5tro:


I spawn a new world, I look onto a large lake of water I look around further to find clay, soon after i travel to get wood and find a nice little island to brace my house then I remember I need coal! After traveling a while I find what I wasn't looking for, but almost as good iron. As I continue I find its becoming night and it's getting dangerous so I gotta move faster or i will be screwed. So I find more clay after a long time of walking and running from monsters I find the black gold coal! That night I made a torch light for lighting and protection, so now I am waiting for the monsters but they didn't attack so I cut down some trees and make a crafting table thinking to myself, I’ve found my new place for a home, so I begin to dig my new home, I dig into the wall and dig my new floor I finish with a wood floor and some stone walls I see that night is soon and grab some sugar cane. As I walk by my house I make a furnace to help me get glass and make a window for my house I make a temporary underground house for now. I got bored of the underground house so I decide to cover it up and dig in a different location. I find iron as the sun rises on my third day I look at my sugar cane farm and its going good my temporary house is done and I have wonderful glass windows and iron items in the future

Kojima game(s) cancelled?

Yesterday Metal Gear Solid creator, Hideo Kojima, tweet about a project he had been working on for almost a year becoming meaningless, he also said that he can't stay positive something that is really weird for Hideo since he's one of the happiest man in gaming industry. We hope that he isn't sad about something related to video games but if he really is because of a cancelled game we want to say that whatever he was doing it was going to be a masterpiece like all of the games he has made so we are sorry for him.

Kirby Nightmare in Dreamland Retro Review

This game was released on December 2nd, 2002 in the USA, originally for the GBA as a remake of the previous game Kirby's Adventure (1993) which was released for the original Gameboy. It is a Kirby platformer (as usual) and has the same monster absorbing mechanics. It has a great storyline yet with no boring cutscenes, it also has some lovely graphics. This game has a lot of secrets and unlockables such as boss battles and minigames. It also has great replayability, you can even play the campaign as Meta Knight! If you have a chance of picking this game up you won’t regret it (if you like platformers).

MW3 Debut Trailer

Today Activision released the debut trailer for MW3 the new Call Of Duty game, the trailer shows NY, England, France and a city in Germany (probably Berlin) under attack. This means that the Russians have started a World War with some allies that we dont know yet and have attacked some of the most powerful countries in the world, the trailer shows us a lot of explosions (they look great) and some action scenes like bombing, the graphics are better than Black Ops thanks to the advanced engine IW is using for the game. At the end of the video we can hear Makarov saying "It doesn't take the most powerful nations in earth, to create the next global conflict, just the will of a single man" by this we would say that Makarov's objective was accomplished and he created a new World War, the WW3.

PSP games coming to PS3!!

Today Sony show a video of Monster Hunter Portable 3rd remastered in HD, being played on a PS3, what this means is that some selected PSP titles will be remastered  in HD so you can play them in your PS3 instead of your PSP, this project is called Playstation Portable Remaster Series and it will feature some awesome stuff like cross platform multiplayer, PS3-PSP. The first game of the series will be Monster Hunter Portable 3rd and will be released in summer for Japanese gamers.
We hope to see PSP games like Metal Gear Peace Walker and God Of War get these treatment so we can play them in our PS3's

Only 2 days to Dirt 3

Only 2  days to Dirt  3, after two games this series we are surprised with the number three, you can play from one to eight players online either by teams or by race, will compete against many rivals, will have to compete in snow, rain or night. If you liked the Dirt past this you'll like it a lot. This game will be for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Collections Edition will also be a fact that is very simple: The game and a car which is a small replica of the Ford Fiesta. The collector's edition will retail for $ 299.99.
The release of this game will be on May 24, 2011.

Killzone 3 is having its own "welcome back"

As we all know the PSN was down for about three weeks because of a hacker attack to the network, so one of the strategies that Sony has to gain costumer's loyalty again will be giving a double XP weekend starting tomorrow and ending on May 23 at 3AM EST on Killzone's multiplayer, also with some free games in the PSN Store and some other things that haven't been revealed yet but they will eventually.

Ratchet & Clank

After several stories of Ratchet and Clank (7) the creators want to continue with the number 8, Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One in this story will have the help of old characters, Dr. Nefarious and Captain Qwark besides Ratchet and Clank join forces to save the planet from a machine that built the Doctor Nefarious to end it all.
The most important and best game is the Co-operative mode where you can play with 4 characters and play with friends offline or in online.
The date for this game is Oct. 19 in Europe and October 18 in USA

First L.A Noire DLC dated

The popular Rockstar game first DLC will be released on June 21, the DLC is named "Nicholson Electroplating" arson case, but there was previous knowledge of the existence of the DLC thanks to a Best-Buy flyer saying that the first 16 costumers to buy L.A Noire in their midnight opening would be getting a free code to unlock the first DLC when it releases. Though we are still hoping to see the exclusive L.A Noire case when PS Store comes back next week.

Terraria review:

I had been waiting for this game for around a month, so when I started playing I saw a 2D minecraft but within minutes, I was addicted.  You could say it's a bit of a Zelda and Minecraft collaboration. In the beginning, you have a copper pickaxe and a copper axe, your only friend is an NPC (Non Player Character) called "The Guide", The guide walks around, staying in a general area you can talk to him and he will explain the basics of the game. First, he tells you to chop down trees, then he tells you build a crafting table out of wood,eventually, he explains how to build houses. Once you build a house the right way he will move into it, meaning that at night he stays inside his house. Once you build more houses, more NPC's will arrive. Demolitionists, Merchants, Nurses, Gun salesmen, and more to be added. Of course unlike the guide, these NPC's have more requirements then just building a house. The merchant may require a house and 50 Silver coins, Gun salesmen and Demolitionists require 10 gold coins and a house, Dryads require you to defeat one boss and build a house, Nurse requires a house and you must have upgraded your health points at least once. Boss fights, they range from The Eye of Cthulu, to the Eater of worlds and eventually the demon Skeletron. Of course, bosses drop resources and rare items upon being defeated! Sadly, these bosses don't go down easy. Bosses will most likely kill you a lot, so bring in back up! Change your server settings to "Open server". This will allow other players to join your server and work with you to build, explore, and defeat bosses! Terraria is currently available on Steam for$9.99.

Overall, I think Terraria is an excellent game that everyone will love. Whether your an Adventurer, a Builder, or a warrior, Terraria has something for everyone.

The popular shooting xbox franchise has reached over a million pre-orders worldwide showing us one of the biggest games of 2011, and also the fastest pre-ordered xbox game to reach this numbers in the history of xbox beating Halo's games pre-orders, the pre-order numbers have increased thanks to the beta released last month and that was played by 1.29 million xbox players.

Angry Birds hits 200 million downloads!!

The popular iPhone, Android, PS and even Google Chrome game has reached over 200 million downloads, this game (if you don't know yet) is about some crazy birds shooting themselves thanks to a giant slingshot just to kill some pigs that stole their eggs! The game is a super addictive one thanks to the level of difficulty in almost every level and also thanks to the sound of a pig getting hit by a bird.

The game was originally released back in 2009 for the iPhone and iPod Touch, and it has two other "brothers"Angry Birds Seasons, that gets an update and new level every team is a season, and Angry Birds Rio, an angry birds game based on the popular animated movie "Rio".

The two games of the week are L.A Noire (the release of the week) and L4D and L4D 2.
L.A Noire: The action-thriller of Rockstar is one of the biggest games of the year, thanks to its new kind of gameplay, cut-scenes and more. The story is in the L.A of 1947, one of the worst decades of this city thanks to a lot of corruption and crimes.


Left 4 Dead (L4D): The first game was released back in 2008 with a story about zombies, but something in this game was better than the typical zombie games, it was the gameplay because instead of being a one man army you need the help of your mates, they will save you from the different kind of zombies, this 4 characters are Zoey, Bill, Louis and Francis.

Duke Nukem: Forever Demo announced

This demo has been delayed a lot of times thanks to the delay of Duke Nuke. The demo was first announced when Borderlands GOTY edition was released and since then people has been waiting for it, but today Gearbox software announced the release day of Duke Nukem: Forever demo for PS3 and Xbox 360, this demo would be available to all of those who purchased Borderlands GOTY edition and also those that pre-order this crazy awesome controversial looking game, the demo will be released on June 3rd , just 11 days before US release date and 7 before international (outside US) release date.

L.A Noire Comming out tomorrow

As many of you may or may not know, L.A Noire is coming out tomorrow in the U.S and on Friday in Europe. This game promises to be a prety solid game thanks to its new gameplay mechanics and genre, game the game is a crime solving thriller, packed with a lot of content, like a campaign of about 25 hours. The protagonist is a post WWII police rookie trying to make some good to the city. Theres a big expectation about this game due to the previous rockstar game: Red Dead Redemption, that was last year's GOTY (Game of the Year) and a best-seller. 

PSN is back!

Well not really but is almost there thanks to new firmware update (3.61) released today, players can access their accounts and change the password, also  theonline gameplay for PS3 and PSP, but this doesn't mean that services like Playstation Store, Playstation Home or other services are now online or available. Something that the update obligates you to do is to change the password but only in the Playstation 3 were your account was activated.
One of the "rewards" that Playstation will be giving is a free month of Playstation Plus, and some free games (in PSN Europe), we are hoping to see more "rewards" for the american players like some add-ons or games.

SOE (Sony Online Entertainment) will be giving a free month

Sony Online Entertainment did misplace some costumer's information when they were attacked  by unkwon hackers so they decide to give a free month to all their subscribers in every game, so if you play DC: Universe and Free Realms you will be getting a free month for both of them, or whatever you play, SOE also announced rewards like gears, items and even in-game currency, all of these to show how much they are sorry about the stolen information. 

SOE has been offline since May 2, when they were attacked by hackers like the PSN and Eidos.com                          

Hitman: Absolution

Hitman is making it's way back to the consoles with this new game being developed by IO Interactive, this game would be the fifth  game in the series and is set to release in early 2012. Looks like this game would change some gaming aspects but it  would be keeping the things that made people love Hitman such as the gameplay mechanics, but the new thing in this game is that Agent 47 is on a personal jurney to find and kill the people who betrayed him in the previous game Hitman: Bloodmoney, and thanks to this we will explore new things related to Agent 47 (hopefully). We hope to see more about his game in this year's E3 were we will see more details and probably some gameplay.

Modern Warfare 3 Teaser Release

Looks like the biggest shooter franchise is coming back with the game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
Today two different teasers were released one is called "America Under Siege" and the other one England, in the first one we can hear two soldiers talking about something related to NYC's district, Manhattan, then we can see a submarine launching some missiles while we hear in the background some shooting noises. In the England teaser we again hear two soldiers talking, then the teaser shows us the "London Eye" (a giant ferris wheel) and then the Big Ben, all of this accompanied with the noice of gun shots.

Modern Warfare 3 is set to release on November 8 in the US, just one week after Uncharted 3 and one week before Oblivion.
